If you have ever wondered what backstage looks like or want to learn trivia like why the crystal chandelier in the foyer was adorned with fruit, then you will enjoy the Powell Hall Tour. These tours, offered free of charge, last one hour and is your chance to learn about the venue’s history while asking any burning questions you might have.

Tours are available by reservation only and are offered only for groups with at least 10 persons. Reservations must be made at least 14 days advance of the intended tour date. To request a free private tour, you will have to contact Laura Dwyer at [email protected] with the following information.

  • Requested date and time
  • Contact information (telephone and email address)
  • Number of people in the group
  • Age range for the group
  • Group affiliation, if any

Tours of Powell Hall last between 45-60 minutes and involve walking and climbing some stairs to reach certain areas. Powell Hall does not have public tour dates for July and August during planned maintenance and updates are scheduled.
